St. Nectan’s Glen

St. Nectan's Glen

Everyone has a place that they have been to, which touched them deeply in some way. For me, I took a trip to St. Nectan’s Glen located near Boscastle, Cornwall in Great Britain back in 2005 when I was working as a secondary school teacher over there. The whole trip to Cornwall itself affected me on a deep spiritual level. St. Nectan’s Glen is the resting place of an early Christian saint and the site may have been holy to ancient pagans for its natural beauty and power. The waterfall was so powerful that it eroded a hole through stone. There is something so profound that nature could be that awesome.
