Haiku about Family

It has been a long time since I wrote one of these, and I thought that I would give a haiku a try. My Dad left us today to undergo cancer treatment in another city. His parting is what inspired this poem.

    1. It can be especially challenging to remain faithful during difficult times. At the same times I do not question God’s will any more as things flow much more easily when I surrender whatever it is. Acceptance and having the serenity to know what to change or accept allows for a much more peaceful state of existence. God does take good care of us even if we aren’t sure of where he is going with things.
