Gentle Light

What do I know of love?
Tired shell I have been,
Rough wind blown…
I’m unseen and unknown,
Sadness I dare not tell,
Weight man cannot bear,
So women carry it alone,
What sin that we atone?
I long for the light,
Or do I forget?
I am the gentle light,
No one notices.
